Employment conditions
At AniCura we have our own terms of employment. You as an employee are central to this, so that you become and remain a happy and satisfied employee.
Our own employment package
Every year we perform an employee satisfaction survey. This survey always clearly shows that our employees find personal development important. With this and other results, we have sharpened our terms of employment, for example by focusing on your development as an employee. After all, you are important to AniCura, the animals and our customers.
Salary, development and benefits
Since 2020, AniCura is no longer part of the collective bargaining agreement Veterinary Practices. The AniCura labor package was introduced in 2020 and distinguishes itself positively from the collective bargaining agreement in several ways.
Our working conditions include:
- Functionmatrix that lists all the positions you will encounter in the clinic with the corresponding competencies and skills. So you know how you can grow within your position and what development paths are available.
- A minimum competitive salary that is linked to our functionmatrix, with good career prospects.
- Regular discussions with your manager about your development plan for that year. These conversations will give you the space and time to discuss your goals and you will be coached by your manager.
- New benefits that match your development. For example, as part of our benefits, every employee at AniCura has a pension plan.
Pension
Pension for everyone
At AniCura, we believe that taking good care of employees goes beyond providing an appropriate salary. Providing for a good pension is also part of being a good employer. Therefore, all AniCura employees participate in the pension plan, including all our paraveterinarians.
For veterinarians: division 1/3rd and 2/3rds
For veterinarians, there is a pension division of 1/3rd for the veterinarians and 2/3rd for the employer. For example, this is a lot more favorable than the division from the collective bargaining agreement. In this area our top priority is that you are a happy and satisfied employee.
Professional helpline
At AniCura, you have access to Mars' Associate Assistance Program (AAP). This is a professional helpline that can support you on whatever you run into in both your work and personal life. Think of independent advice on:
- personal development
- improving relationships
- a healthy work-life balance
- financial matters
- legal issues
When you contact the AAP, you end up directly with a counselor (usually a psychologist). They will always take your question seriously and handle it confidentially, whether it is a conflict at work or if you are wondering how to live a healthier life.
All AniCura employees and their family members can use the AAP for free up to 5 sessions per year.
